If you ask me this question when I was in high school, it’ll simply be the place where I can play with snow, because Luffy loves it.
Although, now, I’m pretty sure Times Square still won’t be on the top of the list. But if I could just drop a pin anywhere in the world, maybe these are the places I wanna go to:
- Lofoten in June, to experience the midnight sun at 2 AM.
- Lisbon, to stroll around and enjoy the sunlight touching the streets from morning through sunset.
- Namsan Tower, because my peers went there and got lost. Like, I’m curious to find the right route. Is it really that hard?
- And definitely the drive from Lauterbrunnen to Grindelwald or vice versa, or maybe go back and forth once a day for a week and stop at a cafe along the way… if that’s not too excessive.
- Oh! I also wanna experience the hike to Machu Picchu.
A bit popular list, isn’t it? I’m fully aware that my country isn’t less wonderful than this list. But, I think sometimes I just wanna see what the world has to offer beyond what I’ve always known.
And after listing these places, I think what I aim is more of the experience rather than the place itself. So, if that’s the idea, maybe I’ll just aim for Semarang or Yogyakarta for now, to seek a historical trip experience. That’ll be fine, right?
