No, this is not a clue for you to look up for if I’m gone.
I don’t really have any reasons why should I run away. So, let’s picture a situation where I wanna go because I WANT to go, not because I HAVE to. Let’s deduct it:
- I love someplace quiet
- I love walking
- I wanna be able to run outside and feel comfortable doing it
- I like greeneries
- I’ve been obsessed with prairie since I was in high school. So, green hills.
- I’d love to sit and test my eyes to see the farthest distance and blankly staring at it until I got lost in thought. So, it should be at least accessible to that kind of place.
- I love to see the mountain (or mountains) in my window, like it’s a regular thing you see everyday. But, I also love to hear the waves, whether it’s from the sea or river.
So, if I could run away, I’ll probably go to somewhere near a lake, where I can hear the bird chirps, the babbling brook, and leaves dancing with the wind. I can already smell the trees and fresh airrrrr!
And honestly, I don’t think I’d want to leave once I got there. I’d probably wake up, go for a walk, find a nice spot to sit, stare at the mountains for an unreasonable amount of time, and call it a perfectly good day.
Maybe that’s the thing. Maybe, instead of running away from somewhere, I just wanna run away to somewhere quiet enough that I can hear my thoughts more clearly.
And if that place happens to have a little house by a lake, with mountains outside the window and enough greenery to make me forget that cities exist… well, maybe I’ll stay for a while.
